Turning on the balls of his feet, Mike tilted his head forward slightly and sighed as he heard Reid's response to his question. Although he knew that his brother didn't enjoy taking his medication, the two knew that he had to. Apart from Reid, and their mother, Mike was the only other one that actually cared if the other relapsed or had a mental break down. He couldn't see his brother go through that again. Sure, he would be there every step of the way if he was to relapse, but he wouldn't want to watch. If he could, he would do it all with his eyes closed.
"The only person you should be apologising to is yourself, Reid. You know how much not taking your medication effects you. So why do you do it?"
Shaking his head slightly, the male turned once more and began walking out of the castle with Reid following close in tow. He didn't speak until the pair had finally left the walls of the castle and his feet hit the grass on the outside. The night sky was beautiful to simply sit and stare at, yet the male wanted to walk. His legs wouldn't allow him to stop and rest, and he just hoped that Reid felt a similar situation.
"Wherever our feet take us. Around the castle a few times... Down to the lake... Wherever."
Stepping infront of his brother, Mike opened his arms and turned around on the spot; his arms making a giant circle as he did so. Laughing a little, the male closed his eyes and tilted his head back like he was some teenage girl feeling the cool, night air for the first time in their entire life.

Reid sighed and couldn't even look at his brother. He knew he had to take his medication but he just couldn't sometimes. It scared him too much to go back to the drugs he just couldn't pull himself to take anything drug wise and those days usually turned out to be the hardest. He knew what it did to him and you would think that would scare him even more but it didn't sometimes. He didn't want to end up in the streets and he cherished his job and family more than anything.
"I know, I know. I just can't pull myself to do it sometimes in case I relapse. I don't want to do that again. I don't want to end up on the streets again. Mike.....you don't even know. I haven't told you everything that I did back then. It would make even you cringe."
He walked with him and slid his hands into his pockets as he did. The night air hit him and it was comforting. It calmed his mind more and helped him to relax. He let his feet take him where they wanted but still stayed with Mike. This was a good idea and he was happy that his brother had gotten him out of the castle to clear his head. These were the days that he needed his brother the most. He was so grateful for him being there. The day his parents adopted him was the best day of his life. He had been so young but he couldn't have been happier. He had gained a brother and a best friend.

Lowering his arms, Mike laughed a little at the way he was acting and began walking in the direction Reid had headed off to. Catching up to his brother, the male wrapped his arms around his chest; thus allowing his large coat to cling tighter around his somewhat shivering body. Although the night air wasn't as cold as his body was making it out to be, Mike's core temperature was always that little bit higher than the average person. Through this, the male always ended up getting colder quicker than anyone else he had. He didn't mind, however. The male could usually wrap himself up in a large coat or even a warm blanket, yet it wouldn't come close to the warm embrace of a young woman. Shaking the thoughts out of his head, Mike stopped in his tracks and looked towards Reid.
"Things that happened on the street while we didn't know where you were remain your secret. I don't pretend to know, or want to know. Mostly because I have enough trouble dealing with just the fact you relapsed. I don't know how myself or mum would take it if you were to spill even a little bit of what happened..."
Remembering back, Mike sighed at the image which made itself known in the front of his mind. The way he had found Reid in the back of an alley-way had almost made his heart explode out of his chest. Tears had streamed down his face; both out of pure relief and worry about his brother. Mike didn't know if Reid would be okay, but he did everything he could to help his brother. Turning his head slightly, the male smiled towards his brother as the pair continued to walk.

Reid nodded. Maybe one day he would tell Mike the things he had done. he had to get them off his chest one day and Mike was the only one he had who he could talk to. He didn't really have any friends and he was far from getting a woman to spend his life with. He still thought that he wasn't worth it. That no woman could love him with how messed up he was and would continue to be. He looked up at the moon. It was almost full in the sky and reflected off of the lake where he caught a slight glimpse of the giant squid lifting it's tentacle.
"Maybe one day you'll know. But enough talk about me. I'll be fine. What about you? Found a woman yet?"
Reid often worried about Mike. He wished that he would go out and find a woman to spend his life with. He knew that he was lonely and Reid could see it even through his haze sometimes. He just wanted Mike to be happy and to have someone else to talk to other than Reid. But it was a long shot. He knew Mike worried about him and would do anything for him. He needed a woman who understood that. Reid hoped he found her soon. He wanted to be there for his brother when he found her.
