He didn't mind the walk, some called it atrocious, but rather the fact of the atrocious owls. Owls. What a disgusting creature. If there was one thing he could hate more than unfair grading and the astonishing ability of some of his peers to not want to be the best they could be, it was owls. The loathsome creatures required constant care, flapped all over the place, and quite frankly, were rude. Always bursting into the great hall like they owned the place, causing messes on the table while he was working. Couldn't their owners train them better? Of course, it was a question of the owner's capability. He couldn't entirely hate the winged beasts, as they were probably raised that way. Products of their environment, as his father would say. Not that he.. well, it was complicated. Nevertheless, he had made the journey to the bird infested place to borrow one of them. A letter needed to be sent. Unfortunately, his cat couldn't exactly do it for him. That was another thing! Cats were so much better of a pet. They take care of themselves, are more intelligent and... well, I should send this letter. Get out of this place while I can. Being the perfectionist Gabriel was though, he didn't pick just any old bird. He wanted to make sure the owl carrying his own letter was the best. As gross as it sounded, Gabriel examined the birds, from afar of course, to try and discern which would have the honor of carrying his letter. It was a long process, but finally he decided on a slim tawny colored one with slanted eyes. Unfortunately, Gabe didn't really know how to attach a letter, not really having sent one before... so he was stuck until he figured out how. Just my luck. Stuck in a room of ...Argh! Someone apparently was walking in though, and upon the sound of an opening door, Gabriel turned around. A seventh year ravenclaw awkwardly holding up an owl leg while the creature looked unpleasant. Not only a seventh year, but a Ravenclaw Prefect. Looks like it'll be unpleasant for all involved. This is open so y'all better go and embarrass the uppity pants off of him.[/style] |
